Bluebell has always been part of our family.
Bluebell was my son’s favourite bunny and has since been passed down to my three-year-old daughter, who loves Bluebell just as much today.
Like many treasured toys, Bluebell has been there for adventures, cuddles and countless family memories.
Little did we know that the greatest adventure was still to come.

In 2026, while fundraising to support people living with dementia, I wanted to find a fun way to involve the incredible care teams I had the privilege of working alongside.
So I packed Bluebell into a little suitcase with an activity book, a travel diary and everything he needed for the journey ahead.
As Bluebell travelled from office to office, each team added photographs, diary entries and their own special moments to his journey.
What started as a simple fundraising idea soon became something much bigger than I ever imagined.

Bluebell travelled hundreds of miles, visiting care teams and meeting wonderful people along the way.

Every page started with a real memory from Bluebell's travels. I spent months turning diary entries, photographs and experiences into a story that children could enjoy while keeping the kindness at the heart of every page.
After countless edits, rewrites and illustrations, Bluebell's adventures became a real children's book. Every copy helps continue Bluebell's original mission of spreading kindness while raising funds to support people living with dementia.

When I began fundraising, I wanted to celebrate the kindness shown every day by those supporting people living with dementia.
Bluebell's journey became a way of capturing those moments—and this book is my way of sharing them.
